Join us at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe for the second installment of our Summer Songwriter Session series. This Friday Night Session will feature a lineup of three talented songwriters: James Downham, Haze & Dacey, and Alaska Highway.

Performers:

James Downham From Stratford, Ontario, James Downham recently released his debut country album, “The Long Way Home,” which includes singles like “One Mile at a Time,” “Wine & Whiskey,” and “Unwind.” The album has amassed over 300,000 streams. Known for his smooth vocal delivery and dynamic tenor range, James spent over a decade touring as a Tim McGraw tribute act before focusing on his original music. He won Season 2 of Canada’s reality talent competition The Shot and was one of 14 artists selected for The Shot: Canada vs. USA.

Haze & Dacey Haze & Dacey, an Indie Folk duo from Richmond, VA, have spent over 10 years traveling the East Coast with their unique blend of original songs and off-the-beaten-path covers. Their performances feature tight harmony vocals, toe-tapping rhythms, and a mix of folk, acoustic rock, and alt-country. Their unpredictable and entertaining sets are sure to delight audiences.

Alaska Highway Originally from Caledon and now residing in Toronto, Alaska Highway has been writing songs for the past five years. With a background in acting and comedy, Alaska Highway brings a unique storytelling element to her performances, blending folk, country, and Americana influences. Her upcoming album, “110 to Whitehorse,” has been two years in the making, with recording sessions in Nashville. Her songs are personal, relatable tales of her life and adventures.
